Spring Picnic!

Oh Spring in Sydney, how I love you! We had our first Spring picnic last weekend, as you may have seen on Instagram and Snapchat. It was the perfect day for it, too! I celebrated the new season with friends and family over a sweet backyard set up, styled by yours truly. We tucked into some delicious lamb dishes, cooked by my spectacular mumma (thanks mum!). Lamb is the perfect dish to bring everyone together whether family, friends or strangers, it’s a crowd favourite. Plus, it’s simple to cook and tastes delicious. It’s also incredibly versatile, we’ve served our lamb five ways (cutlets (my personal fave), lamb leg, meatballs, loins, and lamb salad). I feel like I’m always celebrating Spring when I eat lamb. Spring to met means a time for warmer weather and eating outdoors over some home cooked lamb. It’s a food that holds a real homely place in my heart.
The event was listed on FeedUp, a site where you can create your own event, inviting your friends and family to RSVP. You can also make your event open to the public if you prefer to host a public event, where you can charge an attendance fee. It’s now the perfect time to have your Spring gathering, hope this inspires you to get together for your own FeedUp event with your family, friends, or even with strangers over some lamb this season!

Wow! What a set up! Lamb is something I don't have very often. No particular reason why. We just don't cook it that much. I do like it though!

Wow this is just breathtakingly beautiful and I am enthralled with the idea– I especially like the lamb platters MMMMM the lamb salad looks delicious and the other menu choices look delicious as well. I am also obsessed with how you set up the picnic; the fairy lights and the cushions add the perfect touch I love it! I'll be looking forward to posts 😀
