Amanjena

We reserved our last night in Marrakech for Amanjena, and I knew it was not going to disappoint. You might recall my blog from Montenegro last year, where we visited the stunning Aman property, so I knew this one in Marrakech was also going to be spectacular.

Located thirty minutes out of town, Amanjena is that luxury experience you can’t get anywhere else. It’s exclusive, secluded, private, and honestly perfect. We stayed in a pavilion with private pool, and it felt more like a house than a hotel room. The pavilions and maisons on the property are incredibly spacious and spread out, so you really feel like the only ones onsite.

We treated ourselves to the spa and had the one hour massage. Best massage I’ve had in a while, for sure! Sometimes I find hotel massages can be hit and miss, like the staff weren’t properly trained, or there was too much oil, or not hitting the pressure points etc. But the ladies at Amanjena know exactly what they’re doing!

After the spa we headed to dinner, and because it was a special night, Damian arranged a surprise Italian meal for us. He knew I was craving Italian and was told there was an Italian chef. The dinner setting is gorgeous, as you’ll see below, and the meal (vongole, fish, and chocolate fondant) was absolutely delicious.

I could not fault our stay here, I just wish it were a little longer! I can’t wait to check out the rest of the Aman’s around the world too!

Tara your photos are stunning, and your blog is great to read – not too long, and the pics tell it all. Do you use a camera or smartphone to take your pics, and what software do you use.
