Exploring Keukenhof Gardens

While our ship was docked in Haarlem, we were able to explore Keukenhof. Keukenhof is a flower garden that spans over 32 hectares. It is absolutely stunning and I really didn’t know there were so many species of tulips, there are actually over seven million to see here, so make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to explore the grounds. We spent around an hour and a half here, which was definitely not enough time to see it all. Also, get in early. Because the gardens are so large there’s a lot to see and a lot of people. We managed to take these shots with thousands of people around us, but I’m sure it would have been a lot nicer to see as soon as it opened with less tourists around.

The gardens cost 18€ for an adult ticket & 9€ for a child ticket in person. You can get them for slightly cheaper online or find package deals for groups.
