If you fancied the idea of glamping in the Moroccan Desert, try glamping in the Golden Triangle in Chiang Rai, Thailand. The Four Seasons Tented Camp is a truly one of a kind experience that you have to add to your bucket list. It might be on the upper end of price in terms of camp-style experiences, but it’s nothing short of amazing and is a place and experience you won’t find anywhere else in the world.
To get to the property, you have to arrive by boat. On arrival you’ll find an amazing dining area and reception that over looks the river you arrived in on. Like most luxury hotels, you’ll be greeted with a cold towel and special drink. Once you are ready to head to your room you are whisked away on a jeep, which is a pretty bumpy ride if you ask me. It’s like they take you on a short bumpy ride just so you’ll be even more blown away by the room. Trust me, the rooms here are just next level. Styled by Bill Bensley, the detailing and story of the rooms are so cohesive and authentic, it will make any interior lover swoon (aka me). I’ll let you be the judge from the photos below!
Also on the property you’ll find a spa, public pool, and suspension bridge. There is one restaurant for all meals of the day. Activities can also be booked on the property. And I didn’t even mention the elephant yet! The hotel is extremely exclusive so make sure you book well in advance. There are less than twenty rooms!
Like I said, this place is so special and unique, it has to be on every wanderluster’s list. I hope one day you’ll find yourself in the Golden Triangle of Chiang Rai, and living your best life at Four Seasons Tented Camp.
I’ve stayed here – one of my favourite hotel stays ever!
Same! Such a unique experience.
